This author deserves it ! He made an amazing work. However, I think we forgot some great writters who deserved it too. I aim to find them back and read everything they wrote, yeaaaah o/
Boring books. We had to read five books in order to give prices for a contest. I didn't enjoy them.
We had too to read Maupassant and Camus, that was more interesting, I wish all the French lessons could be this enjoyable. And there was another book in the beginning of the year I didn't like at all, it was about the conflict between Jews and Muslims. Sure it's important but that's not the kind of topic that has my curiosity...
I've already heard of it but I've never read it.

I love ghosts' stories, but Wilde... Reading his books in his own language would have been really interesting. Anyway, I'll improve my reading skills in English with this little lovely book and then I'll try something more difficult. I still have to finish The Asylum For Wayward Victorian Girls !

In Ireland I went to Trinity College and I wanted to buy a book. I didn't know what to chose, Oscar Wilde or some tales... I bought the tales about irish ghosts but I think I regret it now ._.
Well, the most important thing is to assimilate it (Mieux vaut une tête bien faite qu'une tête bien pleine o/), which means... More practice. But I have to agree with you, it's quite a pleasure to speak English.
But grammar is the little thing that makes English sound so good ! Without it, English is only French written with other worlds
It's easier to understand it than it is to produce it. You have to practice a little if you want it to become natural.
